Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the Service, and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the company.

2. The Service

The Service is provided on a per-device basis with no account registration, and includes both free features and features available through Manna Premium.

• Free — Daily Devotion, Bible Reading, Today's Proverbs, the Anonymous Prayer box, and a limited number of AI Reflections and Sharing posts
• Manna Premium (paid subscription) — unlimited AI Reflections, unlimited Sharing, and all 160 topical devotion series (480+ days) unlocked

We may change the Service or add or discontinue features, and will announce material changes in the app or on this website.

3. Formation of the Agreement

No separate registration is required — installing and opening the app constitutes agreement to these Terms. Cross-device sync uses your own iCloud account on iOS, or a hashed identifier stored on our servers on Android.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Manna Premium is billed through the App Store or Google Play and subject to that store's billing policies.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled.
• Cancel any time from your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings; cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge.
• Refunds follow the policy and process of the store where the purchase was made (Apple or Google). We do not process refunds directly outside the store.

5. User Obligations

You agree not to:

• post another person's personal information without consent, or impersonate another person
• post unlawful, obscene, hateful, or abusive content in the Anonymous Prayer box, Sharing, or Q&A
• misuse the report or block features for improper purposes
• interfere with normal operation of the Service, or reverse-engineer or copy its source code without authorization
• violate applicable law

We may remove content or restrict access if any of the above occurs.

6. AI-Generated Content

AI Reflection, Free Meditation commentary, and Verse Search are generated by an AI language model. They are designed to respond from that day's passage, but may contain errors or unsuitable phrasing. These features do not substitute for pastoral counsel, mental health care, or medical or legal advice — please seek qualified help in a crisis.

7. Content Ownership

Scripture text, devotional guides, and design elements provided through the Service belong to us or our respective licensors. Journal entries and Sharing posts you write remain yours; we process them only as needed to provide the Service (for example, to generate an AI reflection or display a community post).

8. Service Interruption and Limitation of Liability

The Service may be interrupted for reasons beyond our control, including force majeure, system maintenance, or an outage at a third-party provider (Apple, Google, Anthropic, Supabase, etc.). Except where required by law, we are not liable for damages arising from features provided free of charge.

9. Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting the app. If you hold an active subscription, cancel it separately in the store's subscription settings to stop automatic renewal.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the Service are resolved under the procedures set by applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Any change will be posted on this page in advance.
